When we were in Europe, I didn’t realize how pretty a night scene picture can be, so unfortunately I only took a few of the night time photography. Here are some of my favourites.
We love the city of Brussels.
The Town Hall of Brussels in the Grand Place (Grote Markt)
The Breadhouse or King’s House Grand Place (Grote Markt), Brussels
I had no idea that time, that there was a guy making the happy pose and hold in that position for more than 10 secs during the time I took the photo! I was so surprised to see the result…
I have another photo of this building without the guy, but I think the guy made the picture more fun.
We also love Lisbon.
Lisbon
We were now in France.
The Fortress of Carcassonne, France.
The view of this medieval fortified French town from the bridge above the river was just enchanting, unfortunately there was not mush time to make picture since cars were not allowed to stop right there. I was holding my breath when I took this photo, no time to set it on a steady surface, just tried to make my hand steady.
One of my favourite scene! (Even though picture is not very sharp)
Eiffel Tower from accross the Seine River
I don’t think we surprise anybody by taking picture of the very iconic and romantic Eiffel Tower. It is indeed beautiful in the night time.

The sparkly Seine River near the Eiffel Tower
We are glad we had the chance to visit the microstate Monaco. The driving to Monaco through the winding mountain road was really beautiful. Monaco is small, beautiful, and really posh.
The famous and glamorous Monte Carlo Casino, Monaco
The luxury Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, Monaco
Next is Spain…
Temple de Debod after sunset, Parque de Rosales, Madrid
Built the first time during the 2nd century BC in Aswan, southern Egypt near to the Nile River,
threatened by the construction of the Great Dam of Aswan in 1960,
donated by the Egyptian state to Spain in 1968 as a gesture of gratitude for Spain’s help in preserving some of the ancient Egyptian temples.
Cathedral of Valencia, Spain
This cathedral and fountain in Valencia, we didn’t intentionally go there that night. We just happen to pass by as we walked from the bus station (we were from Barcelona) to our hostel. It was late at night, and it was a really nice surprise to encounter this!
Mmm…. imagine sitting in that cafe having some beer (or cappuccino for me!) and tapas, while admiring the cathedral…..
Turia Fountain, Valencia, Spain
At last, taken in one of our favourite country in the world, in our favourite island, the gorgeous and soothing Crete.
The Venetian Fortress Koules on the old harbour of Heraklion, Crete Island, Greece
I hope you enjoy the pictures!
